For chains, you do not have to have a set on all 4 wheels of a 4x4. If you can select 2 wheel drive, rear, then you will want the chains on the rear tires. If it is 4 wheel drive all the time then you would still put them on the rear wheels. The 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 could have several different tire sizes. I have included a link to the tire sizes. Click on your size to see the options or if your size is not listed, use the selector option below the list of sizes.

If you will only be using the chains a few times, going with a lower cost set would be beneficial. But if chains are required by law where you live or you will be using them often, I do recommend a set like # PWXMR82V that you have referenced that will last a long time and be easier to install.

I have included some tire chains links for you.
