What are Height Settings of Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel Connection Adapter AM3200

Question:

I’d like to get an Andersen hitch for my 2017 Ram 2500 4x4 short bed, but want to make sure it will provide enough clearance between bed side rails and underside of trailer. I see that there are three adjustment holes in the ball for height, just not sure how much clearance I’ll have with my tall truck bed side rails. Not a lifted truck or larger wheels, just a standard 4x4 height, and fairly light 5th wheel. Thanks

The Andersen Ultimate # AM3200 has three height adjustments measured from the top of the fifth wheel rails:

18" Upper position
16-7/8" Middle position
15-3/4" Lower position

You'd have to measure from the truck bed height to the ground, the bed rail height, and the overhang height of your trailer with it level to determine if any of the height settings would work for you. Keep in mind you need to have around 6 inches of clearance from the bed rails to the truck overhang.
