Is There a Setting to Use Hopkins Agility with EOH Brakes

Question:

Hello, Today I went to pick up my new trailer. Very frustrating day. The trailer has 2 axis and an electric over hydraulic system. The trailer manufacturer made me buy one of these controllers, but it did not work. In a nutshell, after stepping on the brakes, the hydraulic pump would not stop. We ended trying the manufacturers truck with his controller. Dont know the brand, but in the display you can switch from electric to electric over hydraulic. My question for you is the following... is this controller supposed to detect itself when the brake system is just electric or electric over hydraulic? Thanks!

The Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller part # HM47294 is compatible with electric-over-hydraulic trailer brakes, there is no setting that needs to be applied for this to work. It will actually sense the type of brakes used and make the necessary adjustments needed to ensure compatibility.
