Im interested in the westin hdx grille guard item # 57-2270 to fit a 2008 chevy silverado 1500 LTZ Z71. Is there any modification or trimming to get the hdx to fit the 1500?

On a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500, to install the Westin HDX Grille Guard # 57-2270, there is some minor trimming required on the lower valance in order to install the bottom brackets. Once the grille guard is installed this modification will not be noticeable because the super-sweet grille guard and its brackets will cover it. We also have it in black, # 57-2275.
