What is Towing Capacity of 2018 Tesla Model 3 with Stealth Hitch Installed

Question:
We have a 2018 Model 3. Your “Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2 Item # 391TES317T” appears to be the correct product for towing our Big Tex trailer. However the link on your site opens Hitch Instructions that lists Weight Capacity of 2500 lbs and 200 lbs instead of the 4000 lbs and 300 lbs listed on the website. Can you explain the discrepancy?

While I wasn't able to find a listed capacity for this hitch on the installation instructions, the Stealth hitch part # 391TES317T has a 3,500 lb towing capacity and a 350 lb tongue weight capacity. I confirmed this with my contact at Stealth Hitches for you.
Your 2018 Tesla Model 3 on the other hand only has a 963 lb towing capacity as listed by Tesla. This means you would be limited by your vehicle's capacity, which in this case, is the lowest rated component.
