Updated 09/30/2020 | Published 09/28/2020 >
Question:
step has broken arm twice, after sitting for a few months. I assume the arc distance is controlled by the control module, have experienced this? am I on the right track.

The broken step arm can be caused by more than one issue but the control module simply tells the step when to function. The motor however is a resistant motor so if working correct would stop when too much pressure or force is being applied. I suggest an upgrade kit to fix the issue, the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps part # LC379145.
