Could Tow Rax Battery Box TWSP12B bolt to Side of Trailer Frame

Question:
I would like to mount a battery box to the side of a trailer tongue 3X3, square tubing. Would one of these be ridged enough to bolt directly to the side and hold a ~35 lb battery or would it require a frame underneath?

I'd use larger washers and three or four bolts but yes you could attach the Tow-Rax Battery Box # TWSP12B to the side of a trailer frame like you want.
