Where do the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack Feet Mount on a 2008 Honda Fit
Updated 11/13/2012 | Published 11/11/2012 >
Question:
Do I need measurements for where exactly to place the feet of the rack? Or do I just place them wherever I like along the door frame?

There are specific places for the clips that fit in the door frame. The fit information is included with the Fit Kit, # THKIT1312, which fits the 2008 Honda Fit. You will measure from the top edge of the windshield seam (not the glass) back 11-3/4 inches. This is where the front edge of the front pad will be. Once you have it placed in the proper position and the same on the opposite side, mount the front bar. Then measure from the centerline of the front bar back 27-1/4 inches. This is where the center of the rear bar will be.
