Parts Needed to Add EZ Connector Style 7-Way to 2012 F350

Updated 09/23/2020 | Published 09/22/2020

Question:

I have a 2012 Ford F350 with towing package. The bumper connections include a 7-way RV connector and a 4-pin connector. Id like to install the EZ Connector on my truck and trailer, while keeping the factory connectors fully functional. Ive added the following to my cart: EZ Connector Custom Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connector - Watertight Seal - 319-S7-06 EZ Connector Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connector with 8foot Long Cable - Watertight Seal - Trailer End - 319-S7-10 EZ Connector Mounting Bracket for 7-Way Trailer Connector - Vehicle End Item # 319-S7-61 Do you carry a Yinch adapter that will plug in to the factory harness and split it so I can plug in the factory 7-way/4-way connector keeping it functional, and also plug in the EZ Connector? Something similar to what you would use to add a gooseneck plug in the truck bed, but with a factory connector to plug the EZ Connector into instead of another 7-way connector. I found something similar on eBay, but cant determine if its compatible. See attached picture. Thanks for the help.

Everything you mentioned would work well. The EZ Connection part # 319-S7-06 will work great on your truck and will mount with the part # 319-S7-61 and the # 319-S7-10 is the correct kit for the trailer side.

The Y-adapter you sent in a picture of is perfectly compatible and would be what you'd need to add this type of connection to your truck while still allowing your standard 7-way to function. We don't have anything similar though so that adapter would be your best option.
