Could Cargo Carrier Need to Remove to Disconnect Coupler from Curt Ball Mount Adapter D210

Question:
Do I have to take off my cargo basket to un hook the trailer ? I dnot see it would work otherwise

It would depend on the coupler style but for the most part it would be much easier to remove a cargo carrier from the hitch opening of the Curt Hitch Adapter # D210 to disconnect a trailer coupler. It also would be much easier to connect as well. If you check out the attached picture you can see that the trigger latch of a coupler wouldn't clear in the vertical position. If the trailer had a collar lok style coupler it might be more possible but still difficult.
