Question:
I have a 2000 Forest River RV, it is 31 foot Lg. and the awning is 21 foot wide. It has a manual Dometic awning on it right now. I would like to replace the manual arms with electric arms, the measurement from top brkt. to bottom brkt. is 83. Do you offer something that will work?

Helpful Expert Reply:
We do have a conversion kit with replacement awning arms that may work for you, depending on one measurement you need to take. What you will want to do is measure your Dometic awning's fabric extension; if the fabric (when extended) measures 9 feet 8 inches (116 inches) or less then you can use the Solera conversion kit in either white or black:
- Black: Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC434723
- White: Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit # LC434724
