Can Curt Rockerball be Used with Surge Brakes on Trailer
Updated 09/10/2020 | Published 09/09/2020 >
Question:
Can part # C63KR rocker ball be used with a surge brake? I tow a VW New Beetle with a Kar Kaddy towing dolly. I am pulling this with a 2011 Winnebago Sightseer 31E Motorhome. The Kar Kaddy has a surge brake. Can I use this rocker ball with that set up? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Rockerballs like the # C63KR will not interfere with your surge brakes. The movement they allow would not prevent the inertia of your vehicle applying the brakes from activating your surge actuator.
