Typically, only trucks come with factory integrated trailer brake controllers; your 2015 VW Toureg does not come with a factory brake controller. With that said, the Red Arc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR will work on your Toureg and is a fantastic option that provides very responsive proportional braking for your trailer and installs out of the way, so it's not going to be like the traditional "knee knocker" style controllers.

There is a tech bulletin that I've linked to this answer and you do need some additional parts to install any brake controller on your 2015 VW Toureg, which are only available from a VW dealership. To sum this up: Additional wiring, from an authorized dealer, is necessary to correctly wire the brake control harness: (qty. 1) #1J0-972-782 housing and (qty. 2) #000-979-228 wire/terminal assemblies.
