Question:
I have a GH6-6E Atwood water heater. I press the on button and it lights up red, the light goes off as I hear it trying to light but it doesnt and the red light comes back on. I check and I have spark because I can see it as the button is on, I can smell propane so I know Im getting gas but no flame.

It sounds like your regulator and thermostat on your Atwood GH6-6E has gone out, based on what we've been told by Atwood/Dometic when we've seen this previously. To address this issue you can replace it with the Replacement Gas Regulator for Atwood Gas RV Water Heaters # 91602.
