Replacement Buttons, Operator, and Lift Motor for MaxxAir RV Roof Vent # 7000K

Question:

I have a maxxair model 00-7000K, with remote. The unit was installed in Sept 2017. Two issues: the remote works but the buttons on the unit itself are non-responsive and, it opens only about 1/2 inch but cycles through several stages trying to open to no avail ... accompanied by a rachet thumping sound. The same is true when closing. The fan itself seems to work fine. Do i need to replace or can it be repaired?

For your MaxxAir fan part # MA00-07000K we sell several replacement parts. For the buttons not working we offer the keypad part # MA10-21304K, for the lift motor # MA10-20270, and for the operator # MA10-20281K-1AF.

With all three of these replacement parts you'd get your fan going again but it might just be as easy to replace the entire thing.
