Is there some kind of a mounting bracket that can be used with light to mount under my trailer hitch on the truck when backing boat up.

I think I have a better solution for you since a bracket is not available. Take a look at the ball mount hitch light # SRECEIVERS1160X2. This light fits between a ball mount and the face of the receiver on the hitch. You then wire it in to the reverse light circuit. I have included a link to a video review for you.
