Can A Transmission Cooler Be Added To a 2019 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

My Tacoma has the factory installed receiver, oil cooler, and power steering cooler, but see no mention of trans cooler. Can one be added to a vehicle without one? V6 engine. Thanks

Yes, an aftermarket transmission cooler can be added to a 2019 Toyota Tacoma without issue and it will be a great idea if you plan on towing as they will work to ensure transmission fluid temperatures do not rise and reduce the lifespan of the transmission. I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13504 as the best option and it comes with everything you need.

Please note, pretty much all trucks are already going to have a factory transmission cooler (usually built into radiator) but you will still want to add a supplemental option like the above if towing.
