Can Blue OX Patriot Activate Brakes of Vehicle with Battery Disconnected

Vehicle is a 2015 Ford Flex SE. I have a Blue Ox Patriot. If I disconnect the negative cable to the cars battery and only use an exterior 12 volt power source. Will the Cars brakes still function properly? Does the batter on board in the Flex need to be connected in order for the braking system to operate?

Since the braking system of your 2015 Ford Flex can still be used (although requiring much more pressure) when the vehicle is powered off you can use an outlet like the part # RM-9332 with the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR and everything will work great. The Patriot only needs a connection to the battery and it doesn't require the vehicle to have power as well.
