Question:
Do I need to use two adapters to get down to the 110 size grounded outlet? And does the charge received from the 110V supply enough basic power for Tv, Fridg, and a few lights while the RV is parked?

Great questions. You will need to determine that your lights, tv, and fridge run off 110v/120v power. Many systems run off 12v power for lights, TV, and there are even a few refrigerators that run off that power. The adaptors are already in most RV's to make sure when you plug into shore power, all the other conversions. are made within the power distribution and converter box.
Because you are looking for 50 amp connection through a 110v ground, you can use adapters but it doesn't mean you will have all the power functions. You will be able to run your lights, tv, and fridge but larger appliances like AC will likely not work. The Mighty Cord Dog Bone RV Power Cord Adapter - 50 Amp Female to 15 Amp Male - 12" - Red # A10-1550 is my recommendation for you but you will be limited to the circuit breaker power on your grounded outlet.
