Question:
I have not used my 20foot V-nose, dual axle, cargo trailer for a year and it will be at least 9 months before I use it again. I plan to put it up on jack stands. Where should I locate the jackstands on the trailer?

Expert Reply:
When using jack stands like the 2-Ton Jack Stands part # PTW41021 I recommend using one under each of the springs where the axle sits. If the springs are above the axle place them under the axle where the springs are. I also recommend using two on each side of the tongue to eliminate twisting that can occur on your jack weakening the jack mounting location.
As another option that can save you a ton of work with jacks and jack stands we offer the Race Ramps FlatStoppers for Vehicle Storage part # RR-FS-10. These can be placed in front of or behind the trailers wheels and simply backed up or pulled up on and will have the wheels supported and prevent flat spotting of your tires.
Check out the video on them I have linked for you below.
