The Yakima HighSpeed Roof Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Clamp On # Y02115 will work well with the SmarT-Slot Mounting Kit for Yakima HighSpeed and HighRoad Roof Bike Racks # Y02122 to mount to any crossbars with the top channel. The Thule Aero Blade crossbars like # TH7603B-TH7603B with fit your 2017 BMW X5 but you will also need the discontinued fit kit 4023 for that specific fit. You may want to consider a different option if you don't already have that roof rack. I've linked the page to all your options.
