Question:
Most of the controller is wired up but the connector for the brake switch does not allow a test or to be inserted to check which wire is the brake light trigger. There are 5 wires. Green, black, brown, yellow/blackstripe, and white. Any help!? Thanks!

We haven't had the chance to install a brake controller on a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon so I can't tell you offhand what the color of wire you need to use but I can still help you figure it out. For probing wires with limited access the best option is a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 which uses a hook/probe setup that's easy to get into limited access areas. With a tester like this you'll be able to determine.
