Question:

I noticed on my trailer that 5he axle bow was toward the ground instead Up, is it a simple process to rotate the axle to proper direction?

The axle bow as you referenced is designed to have the bow on the top so when weight is added the axle becomes more straight for best tire traction and level load support. Since your trailer axle has the bow towards the ground, I would first want to confirm the axle hasn't been damaged before just flipping it over. The spring seats should be an indicator of the way the axle was designed to function as they should be welded onto the bottom of the axle opposite the arch in the middle.

If the axle has been installed incorrectly, then you will want to remedy the situation. If the spring seats are on top of the axle then it is likely they tried to flip the axle without adding the proper over-under kit. If this is the case, then you will want to use the # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle or # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch diameter axle. This allows that adaptation with keeping the arch in the correct orientation.

If the axle has been damaged and now has the bow in the incorrect orientation, I recommend replacing it. I've linked the page to all the axle options we carry to assist.
