Can I Fit Two Thule Hullavators For Two Kayaks On My 2011 Dodge Durango?

Question:

Hello. I have a Dodge Durango 2011 with front to back rails. What will I need to install two Thule Hullavators, one pair for each side to be able to carry two kayaks. Thanks !

Each Thule Hullavator # TH898 requires 28.5 inches of bar space, so with two of them you will need at least 57 inches of bar space, but since it also requires at least 4 (to 8) inches of overhang on each side, you will need at least 65 inch crossbars. The largest roof rack we carry for your 2001 Dodge Durango is 60 inches so two hullavators is out of the question. You can use one Thule Hullavator and one set of our J-Style Kayak Carrier # e98878 if you grab a roof rack set up. You can use the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711520, the Thule Rapid Traverse Feet # TH480R and the Fit Kit # THKIT1616.
