We do have hitches that will fit your 1996 Ford F-450, but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15845 you referenced is not a confirmed fit. There are 3 options for your f-450 Cab and Chassis, a 2" receiver tube, 2 1/2" receiver tube and Pintle mount hitch :
The Buyers Products Hitch Plate for Pintle Mounting - 1/2" x 15-1/2" - Ford # 3371809030B
The Buyers Products Hitch Plate with 2" Receiver Tube - Ford # 3371809060A
The Buyers Products Hitch Plate with 2-1/2" Receiver Tube - Ford # 3371809061A
Each one of the hitches have a maximum gross trailer weigh of 20,000 lbs. I linked a review of the hitches for you to check out.
