Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2014 Buick Encore

Question:
I had a place that puts trailer hitch receivers on vehicles. I have a 2014 Buick Encore and was told that It wasn’t possible to attach one to my vehicle. Is your trailer hitch receiver special and will fit any 2014 Buick Encore.
