There are 5 basic components that you need to flat tow your 2011 Honda CR-V. You need a tow bar like the Stowmaster 5000 that you purchased, base plates, safety cables, light kit and a supplemental braking system. You should also check your owners manual of your CR-V for any specific towing procedures that must be followed like pulling fuses or adding a lube pump.
For base plates, I recommend the Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit, # RM-521559-4, that you referenced. These base plates work with all Roadmaster tow bars and have removable arms for a normal look when you are not towing.
The next item that you need are safety cables, I recommend safety cables # RM-643. There are a few different options for a light kit. The easiest light kit to set up and use are the magnetic tow lights like # RM-2120. There are also hard wire kits and bulb and socket kits that are permanent installations. I have attached a help article on different tow light kits for you to review to see which one you like best.
The final item is a supplemental braking system. Most states now require towed vehicles to use a braking system. I recommend checking the local laws and regulations where you plan on traveling to see if a supplemental braking system is required. If you do need a supplemental braking system, then I recommend the Roadmaster Even Brake, # RM-9400. This is a proportional braking system that is easy to set up and use.
