Question:

i presently have a curt 25k hitch in my truck and I am very unhappy with the amount of front to back slop when starting and stopping. i have been told by etrailer that this is unfixable would i be able to purchase this new type head only and replace my present to solve the problem i,m in Canada and would like a favourable response if this is my best option for solving my problem and what would be the cost Please verfy if there is a recall on my present hitch and if there is a better option for me also will this solve my probleths

If you have the Curt Q25 hitch head # C16565, there have been many people who have had a similar issue. Curt came out with another hitch head the A25 # C16580 which has a better latch system and a different pivoting system. This hitch head is able to fit all the same bases as the Q series 5th wheel hitch head. I don't believe there was any recall on these.
