I want to avoid crossbars since the platform IS all crossbars...which Yakima towers and footpads/parts will I need to accommodate?

To install the Yakima LockNLoad platform # Y05045 on the roof of a vehicle you'll need the SL adapters # Y05042-2, the towers # Y28TR, and the base clips part # Y06168 and you'd have everything needed to install on your 2013 Ford F-150.
