Updated 07/30/2020 | Published 07/28/2020 >
Question:
I just received the 315 RV storage door key. I finally got it to work but it takes about 4 to 5 minutes wiggling it to do so. It appears something wrong , possibly cut not just right. Is there anything I can do. This is happening on every door lock, I thought Id never get it to work. I also lubricated all the locks but still the same. Key gos in fine but takes lots of wiggle to get it to work

Examine the cuts on the key, making sure there aren't any burrs and that all the cuts are clean. Also, make sure the key is fully seated in the lock. You can try inserting the key, then give the end of the key a sharp tap with a wooden or rubber mallet. This will ensure that the key is fully bottomed out in the lock cylinder. You should only need to do this once per lock cylinder.
