Should Wiring Harness Be Installed When Bumper is Off for Base Plates on 2019 Chevy Equinox

When I am installing the RM-523193-4 base plate. Would it be a good idea to install the towing wire harness while I have the facia off on my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox?

Yes, when installing the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-523193-4 on a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox it will be a good idea to go ahead and run the wires for the flat-tow wiring harness while the bumper is off. If you don't already have a wiring harness, I recommend using the Roadmaster Smart Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit part # RM26FR. I have done by fair share of flat-tow installations and this is how I have done them each time.
