Question:
What is the measurement from the mounting face to the center of the 5/8 pin ? Some of the heavy duty pintle hitches used 9/16” bolts instead of the 1/2” Will 9/16” bolts fit the holes ? Or only 1/2”? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The distance from the mounting face to the hitch pin hole is approximately 7 inches for the Curt Pintle Hook Mounting Plate for 2-1/2" Hitches # C48348.
With this plate you can use a pintle mounting hook with 9/16" mounting holes, such as the Curt Pintle Hook # C48210.
I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
