Which TracRac SR Ladder Rack Base Rails Fit 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 6-1/2 ft Bed

Question:

I am buying a used SR rack system from someone that is on a 2009-2020 Dodge Ram 1500 short bed truck. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 short bed. From what I have researched those base rails will not fit my truck. Am I correct in this? My question then would be for the used base rails that you are selling for this system . Is that for the pair of them? And does it include all of the hardware for the stake pockets?

The correct base rails you need to install a TracRac SR ladder rack to the bed of your 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 6-1/2 ft bed is the part # TH21501. This is different from the base rails that fit the newer trucks so it would be what you'd need to adapt the ladder rack you are buying to fit your truck.
