Yes you can use the Curt Ball Mount Adapter part # D210 in the hitch of your 2018 Chevy Traverse and with the Swagman Chinook bike rack part # S64683. It most likely won't be an issue but when you use a hitch adapter like this it does cut the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent.
