Replacement Stereo Needed for Audio VD-400i

Question:

i have a touch audio vd-400i in my camper would like to know what other radio can i put in that will fit the same opening and the same wiring connections

From what I could find it looks like your Audio VD-400i has mounting dimensions of 7-1/2" wide x 6-1/2" tall x 3-1/4" deep. While we don't have any stereos that will fit exactly in that same cutout, we do have the Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A which has mounting dimensions of 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep. This is going the be the closest thing we have in regards to fitment of where your stereo is currently installed.

According to what I was seeing it looks like your stereo is a bit of an oddball as far as dimensions go so you might have a hard time finding an exact replacement.

When it comes to the wiring I'm not sure what your current stereo looks like, but I'm attaching a photo showing the wiring layout for the JWM60A that you can check out.

We have the same problem. We have a Heartland North Trail RV. We need a replacement Radio. There is a VD-400i in it. How does the wiring match up to a JWM60A ? We can modify the size just not savey to wiring.

@Bobbi I still don't have a wiring layout for the VD-400i stereo. You'll either need to see if you can find one online (maybe in a manual), or the wiring might be physically labeled, so you can check behind your stereo as well.
