Question:

Hello, I would like to install a receiver hitch on my 2019 Kia Soul mostly to carry a bike rack both when towed behind my Class C RV and stand-alone when we reach our destination. I am not interested in trying to place the bike rack between the Toad and the RV. What you would recommend for a receiver hitch and a bike rack for 3 bikes one adult with front suspension, and two kids bikes with spring loaded front forks. Thanks! PS My RV and Toyota Highlander both have 2inch receivers, so I would like the rack to work on those as well.

For the receiver for your 2019 Kia Soul, the only available 2" hitch is the EcoHitch # 306-X7326, which would have the same receiver size as your Highlander.

When it comes to bike racks that can be used on a flat towed vehicle, you will need one with a solid shank that has been rated for this application. I recommend using the Swagman # S64152-2, which is rated for use on the backs of flat towed vehicles. If these bikes have aggressive step through frames you may need a bike adapter bar like the Swagman # 64005 in order to carry them level.
