Question:
I have a 2020 chevy with a 6 3/4 bed do I need the slider hitch or will I have enough clearance with a regular hitch

With your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 only having a 6-3/4 ft bed with out the OEM prep package it's recommended to use a slider to provide enough clearance between the nose of the camper and the cab of the truck. I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 21,000 lbs Item # DM8550037. This hitch provides you with the auto slide feature which takes the hassle away from getting out of your vehicle and pulling a lever to allow the hitch to move.
I recommend the Underbed Rail and Installation Kit for Demco Hijacker UMS 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches Item # DR37FR. The rail kit allows you to not only use the fifth wheel hitch and maintain full bed access when the hitch is removed but it also allows you to use goose neck adapter Demco Hijacker UMS Series Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for UMS Series Base Rails - 25,000 lbs Item # DM5988 when you want to pull a goose neck trailer.
I also recommend Demco 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug - 10' Long Item # DM8555002. This wiring harness connects directly in line with your factory 7 pole plug on the bumper but provides you with a plug inside the bed so you don't have to hang the wire from the trailer over the tailgate.
I have provided a link to a review video for the hitch and an instillation video on the wiring.
