Gooseneck for 2018 Ram 2500 With Factory Prep Package

Question:

RAM 5th wheel goose prep package. I have a 2018 RAM 2500 that came with the RAM 5th wheel/goose package. Will the Reese Elite Series Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 25,000 lbs fit?

Since your 2018 Ram 2500 has the 5th wheel/gooseneck factory prep package, there isn't a gooseneck hitch that will work, you simply need a gooseneck ball that fits into the center hole of your Ram, which is one of the following:

- Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loops Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60618

- B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNXA2062

The B&W is the highest quality of the three kits and the one I recommend because its handle makes it the easiest to use and lock into the gooseneck hole, and because B&W is widely regarded as making the most highest quality
towing products in the industry.
