Question:
Fitting two thule boxes on the roof rack Hi There, I have a Honda pilot 2012 with a regular roof rack with cross bars. How would I attach the Thule 79 inch wide cross bars onto my roof rack system? Thanks very much,

Expert Reply:
To install the 79" Thule ProBar Evo Crossbars # TH713700 on the raised rails for your 2012 Honda Pilot you will need the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401. Please note that you will want to make sure that these crossbars don't extend past your side mirrors as that's typically the what you will legally go by for max crossbar width.
Please note that you will be limited to a 165 lb weight capacity so if you were to install 2 of the Thule Motion XT # TH629706 cargo boxes which weighs 42 lbs then your roof rack weight rating will be reduced by 84 lbs.
