Question:

Good morning.I have an older swagmman bike carrier that has a 1.250 fitting. Would the swagman adaptor sp323 fit on a 2 inch hitch that is mounted on my Mazda CD 5 2016. On the vehicle mounted hitch, The 5/8 hole is 1 inch apart from the 1/2 hole and 2 1/2 inch from the front of the hitch itself. On the swagman carrier the 1/2 inch hole is 2 inch from the end. If this adapter doesn’t fit, what would you recommend?

Yes the Swagman Replacement 2" Adapter # SP323 will fit in your 2" hitch on your 2016 Mazda CX-5. This adapts the 1-1/4" shank to a 2" hitch for the following Swagman Bike Racks: XTC-2 # S64670, XC-2 # S64650, Chinook # S64683, G10 S64682, and Semi 2.0 S64686 2-bike carriers and it also works with Swagman Trailhead # S63380 4 bike rack. Our measurement from the center of the 1/2" hole to the end of bike rack shank is 3". This hole is where you insert the bolt to hold the adapter to your bike rack.
