Question:
my homemade flatbed utility trailer has a wood floor and verticle steel strap welded around the bed to use to tie cargo down. The jeep isnt very heavy but it will be towed over rough and steep ranch roads. What do I need.

The Erickson Tie Down Kit you mentioned, part # 08504-05 would work great for you as long as the hook on the end of the strap can secure to the tie downs you mentioned. You would need four of the straps, one to secure each corner of the vehicle. Due to the 3300 lb safe working load limit (WLL) of each strap, you will have more than enough capacity to secure your Willys to the trailer. The 13,200 lbs of capacity will be exactly what you need on those rough roads.
