Curt Hitch Trailer Hitch for 2004 Chevy Tahoe

Question:

I have a 2004 Tahoe Z71 with a rusted GM OEM hitch in need of replacing. Im trying to determine the best choice for a hitch. Is the C13422 the best choice. I tow a boat with a boat+trailer weight of approx 5000 to 5200 lbs with full tank of gas. I dont know if there is any significant difference in quality/durability/rust prev. between hitches, but that would be more important to me than the higher tongue weight, the 600 lbs should be OK. Thanks for any guidance.

Since you mentioned valuing rust prevention the Curt hitch part # C13422 that you referenced for your 2004 Chevy Tahoe is the way to go. The Curt hitches have the highest quality powdercoat and we've also found that they have a bit higher quality control in general so that is why I recommend it for you.
