I believe I have a solution for you, but first you are going to need to have a hitch installed on your 2012 Subaru Impreza. Check out the link I attached that has all of the hitches we carry for your vehicle. You will need to select your vehicle style and then all of the correct hitches for your vehicle will be listed.
Next you will need to get a Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. Even though this is a 4 bike rack you will only be able to carry 2 bikes since all of the hitches available for your vehicle are Class I hitches. But since all you need to carry is 2 bikes this will work out well for you. Check out the review video I attached that shows this rack being installed on a Impreza similar to yours.
Finally, you can get a Thule Hitch Mounted Bike Rack Ski Carrier Adapter # TH9033. This will install on the # TH9033 and provide you with a ski rack as well. Check out the review video I attached for this product also.
