Question:
This is the first time for me in owning a Class C motor home. While I have been towing camper trailers for many years, I know almost nothing as far as towing a toad in concerned. In addition to what parts I need to buy, please also advise where I can get the installation done and approximately how much I can expect for parts and labor.

You have come to the right place. The first thing you are going to want to look at is the vehicle owners manual for the manufacturer recommended towing method and if there are any special recommendations for your 2004 Honda Pilot.
There are 5 items you will need to flat tow a vehicle: Base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.
For base plates, there are several options, see link. I like the Demco products so I recommend part # DM9517143. These base plates are compatible with the Commander tow bar, # DM9511012. This tow bar also comes with the next item you will need, safety cables.
For wiring, there are several options but I recommend the bulb and socket kit # RM-155 because you will not have to cut into the vehicle wiring to install the kit.
Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being flat towed. I recommend the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. It's a permanent install so once it's in the Pilot all you need to do is flip a switch to activate the system.
I have included a link to our series of FAQ articles on flat towing for you. You will want to consult the vehicle owners manual to determine if you can flat tow this vehicle and on the proper procedure for flat towing.
