Will the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent Work and Install Without Power

Question:

Hi, I would like to fit Maxxfan to roof of camper van and then wire up the fan at a later date when electrics are installed. Is this possible as instructions suggest connecting to a power source during installation?

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent part # MA00-07500K has a manual knob that will let you open and close the vent without power. Therefore, it would not require power to be installed or used without the fan. Once power is restored you could then use the fan and power lift feature.
