How to Carry 2 Bikes on 2020 Honda Insight Touring

Question:

Do you have a 1 1/4” hitch mount that will fit a 2020 Honda Insight Touring? If so, can it handle two electric bikes that weigh 35-40 lbs each? We already have a Saris rack that we really like that used to mount into the 1 1/4” hitch on our Acura TSX and we’d like to keep using that rack.

I may have an alternative solution for you, but there are not currently hitches available for the 2020 Honda Insight at this time. If you're able to remove the batteries to get your bikes at or below 35-lbs each you can use the Saris Bones # SA805BL to carry your bikes. This is a trunk mounted rack that uses ratcheting anti-sway straps to secure and stabilize your bikes.

This would be the only available alternative to carry bikes on your 2020 Honda Insight Touring without using a roof rack.
