Question:
I have an older Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain tow bar, the 8000# version with all the hardware. Whats the correct base plate for this tow bar that I need to buy for my Xterra?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster # 354-1 base plate kit is compatible with your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar.
You'll also need safety cables if you don't already have them, a wiring harness, a supplemental braking system and a high/low adapter if the height difference between the receiver on the motorhome and the installed base plate height is greater than 3 inches.
I've linked you to some helpful articles about flat towing. If you'd care for some specific recommendations about the other parts you're needing, just let me know. I'd be happy to help.
