Troubleshooting Install of Demco GM Rail Kit Adapter Not Fitting Well In Truck Rail Kit

Question:
After getting the adapter into the pucks on my Chevy 2500HD, the locking arms on one end closed very easily. The two locking arms on the other end took some effort to close, but I was able to close and lock them. I pulled up on the adapter and it appears to be securely fastened. Do I need to be concerned that the one side was harder to close and lock as compared to the other side?

The mounting pucks of the Demco fifth wheel rail adapter part # DM6333 are adjustable so that they can be positioned perfectly to fit your rail kit. If you check out the picture I took from the install instructions you can see how this is done normally.
