Question:
New 2020 Heritage tandem boat trailer with reverse lockout hydraulic surge brakes Want to convert OEM 4 way flat to 5 way flat connection to properly allow for instant backing/launching without manually installing the metal brake lockout key. Which etrailer parts / brackets do you recommend for the cleanest installation? Are there parts that plug into existing Factory connectors? Are there instructions/ video to follow particular for my make, model and year of vehicle. Thank you!

The only option to install a 5-way trailer connector on a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder is with an adapter, the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter part # C57187. In order to mount this you'll need the Mounting Bracket for Wesbar 5-Pole Flat part # tr20046.
There are unfortunately no plug-in-play options to install a 5-way trailer connector. In regards to installation, you'd simply need to find the reverse light wire behind the tail lights but we don't have any videos of this.
