I checked on the 2011 Mercedes C350 and there are no hitches available for the coupe models. The # C11030 that you referenced will work on the sedans but not the coupes.
Since I do not know what year BMW 3 series you have I can not say for certain if a hitch is available. Email me back and I will let you know if there is one available.
I checked and the Thule OutWay Bike Carrier # TH45JV will work on your C350 and every generation of BMW 3 Series coupes so I believe it would be a good choice for you. Check out the review video I attached for this product for you to check out also.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without a horizontal top tube you might also be interested in purchasing a Thule Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT to provide a horizontal top tube for the rack to attach to easier. I attached a review video for this product for you to check out also.
To prevent any dents I would just make sure to remove the rack when not in use and be sure not to overload the carrier. The weight capacity for this rack is 66 lbs.
